We made it safely home yesterday afternoon. Seven days – 1430 miles, give or take a few. Our backs and other body parts were getting tired and sore. Our last night on the road was the best RV spot… It was just north of Depoe Bay and was called the Sand and Sea RV park. The spot we got was not huge but was so close to the ocean we were almost in it. We were just settling in when a friend called me to chat and when I said we were near Depoe Bay she said that we HAD to stay at the Sand and Sea RV park. Told her we were there. We were just 6 spots away from her favorite place. It is not only right on the ocean, but beautifully laid out, super clean and pretty and friendly. It is not huge (another plus) and very close to the fun in Depoe Bay. So now I am just waiting to hear about my mom’s adventures. She left yesterday for a 2 week land/cruise trip to Greece and Turkey. Her adventure started early at SeaTac when there was some type of incident and the whole plane was de-planed and everybody’s stuff was gone throught. We hope to hear tonight that she is safely in Athens. She is so excited about her adventure and ready for anything.
